Hi everybody. I need your help again. I am almost finished installing a cd player/radio in my truck. I had to take apart my interior to get to a factory installed amplifier. When i took off the rear right panel i broke several of the push in retainers. I have been looking for some more but haven't found much. I have checked my local ford dealership , almost every auto part store , body shop and web site. Anybody know of a web site that i may have missed? Also does anyone know if my interior is graphite or dark graphite ? I've seen some other ford accessories that look like the color of my interior. But they don't tell what shade of graphite. I'll try to post some pics(plus i want to show off my new radio).

i resurected an old post!!

i have seen factory style clips at auto zone and lowe's if you are still in this predicament. any automotive style clip with the same type head should work as long as it fits in the hole.

 

ive had to pick up clips numerous times... you should be able to find them at your local ford parts store. also, if you have a ford collision repair center, they have em too. i get mine at the drew ford parts store here in san diego.

 

They didn't have any that were the same color at the ford dealership. I finally went to a slavage yard and got the right color. I had to pry them off of wrecked cars but they gave them to me for free.

 

i couldnt find any of the stock color either.... from what i understand, they only come in light gray, tan and black. any other color that your interior has, those parts were all factory painted. for example, i used to have the dark gray/graphite interior, and i'd have to use sem vinyl and fabric coating to match the light gray snaps to the graphite color i wanted.

since my interior is all black now, its easier ;o)
