Jeep TJ seats in a ranger

Hey gang long time no talk. Truck is still hanging around.
I belong to a local jeep club...still take the rangers on their trail rides.
Local guy has TJ seats for sale, wanted to know if they would fit?
anyone know the bolt location measurements on the seat mounts and i will have him see what he has.
black cloth 2 seats for 75 for the pair cant be bad if they fit.

Since TJ seats mount a lot higher then a ranger you would have to make custom brackets and figure out what sliders to use.

You can always buy them and go to the yards and find a set of seat brackets. If they don't work out e-bay the TJ seats and you're out the under $20 for the seat brackets.

I highly doubt they are anything near to a bolt in.

also, the seat brackets on my stock ranger seats were integrated into the seat frame. either that or they were riveted in pretty good and it was easier to just torch em off. I cant remember, either plan on basically having to get another set of ranger seats to try.

but whats the advantage to the TJ seats? I dont see it being worth the $75 deal unless theres some reason I am missing.

it would get rid of the 60/40 split. more comfortable since i have wore my drivers seat out. looks cooler.

but thanks for the info on it being riveted

What year TJ is it? I have an 05 TJ and an 01 Ranger in the garage every night. Let me know what measurements you need and I can get them.
