ok, found a set of gray leather/vinyl seats today with red inserts...... they are SEXY!!!!! ok, I want to keep my center console, anyone ever done the bucket seat mod to vinyl/leather seats?? PLEASE post pics, I really want these!!! Thanx!

I have seen them. Im looking more into cutting the 60/40 into a 40/40 with the leather/vinyl material.

why not just get leather seats and get a shorty console much more room than in the small arm rest one.

 

because Ill have the 60/40 seats, Ill have to cut the seats regardless to get the shorty, so if someone answers the first question then I can do any console I want, which will be the full length one thats in there.... bump

 

heres mine but with the shorty konsole. vinyl outer, microfiber inner. Eventually I'm going to re-do the inner part in leather

 

i ment leather buck seats from and explorer so you wont have to cut anything.

Do it Sully!! It will tie into the exterior of your truck, which would look awesome.

 

You need to post pictures so people aren't so confused. They sound awesome. I assume the seat mod would work the same, I guess it's just a function of tucking and sewing the leather/vinyl neatly after you cut the frame and foam.

 

thanx and your right, Im just nervous about cutting them up. I dont have a good pic of em at all. next weekend I may go down and check em out again... even tho its an hour and a half away lol plus I may get my edge fender flares, fx4 skids and stainless gauges :)
