Is this a low gas light?

Weird. My truck is a '99 and it does not have it. I vote for get gas now cause it is going to rain. ROFL

That is strange, never seen that warning on anything before. But like said seeing there is a fuel pump and water drops, I am going with water in your fuel.

You all have it wrong. It's a warning light to apply KY Jelly before the next fill up.

My Dad's '03 Dodge 3500 Cummins has the same light on the dash. I sill vote for water in the gas...not sure how, but it gets my vote.

My original 98 cluster has this light, never saw it come on though, not even during key on prove out so i can be of no help

I don't own a 98, but I do own a 2005 and I checked the vehicle symbol glossary chart. It shows a gas pump (like in your pictures) with a slash going through the pump. The glossary states that it a Fuel Pump Reset.

I would say water in fuel. Diesels usually have this. IDK if that cluster was used in foreign Rangers that were diesel, but that would be my guess. Gasoline engine vehicles usually don't have this light because a little water in the fuel won't cause as many problems as in a diesel engine.

yeah i would say water in fuel too i have this light on my 98 ranger but it has never come on.
