I got the 4D i dont really use mine for lighting as much as i use it for protection. I feel really safe with it Seems where ever i go with my girl we get eyeballed and i dont like conflict so i like to end it as soon as possible. Cant wait to get my hand gun license lol.

I just did this today. I like where it's at, because I'm usually reaching in the supercab grabbing my coat.

Also, we are about to put up the vision X LED flash light. Same dimensions as the 3D Maglite. Comes in a pack with 2 lights, one 3D and one is a smaller AA flashlight, both LED. Should be around $30.

But IMO the 4D or the rechargable is the one to get. 3D doesn't work out well when buying batteries . 2D doesn't last long enough.

Don't forget extra batteries!!!

I like the one from ModBargains, but I am not willing to pay that much for a Maglite mount. I like the clip I got from Wayne.

Forget the LED and get a MagLite Rechargeable. They are so much brighter. I've got mine mounted on the floor in mine with the charger/dock. It makes a big difference in a high voltage cab at 1 in the morning in a blizzard. Trust me.
