metric gauges in standard truck???

metric gauges in standard truck???

hey guys my trucks cluster is in miles and its in an 07 (of course) but will a metric guage cluster from canada work ok? i know theres not much difference and can i change the lcd mileage screen from mine (US) to the metric one (CA) and it show up in miles?? hey my fellow ranger guys to my north... is 143,000kms a lot haha

if the engine has had regular oil filter and oil changes
then NO ,, 143,000 kilometers is not a-lot of mileage for that truck

the metric gauge cluster will work fine

( there is no difference between them )

as you said ,, you can shift between them

It's just under 89,000 miles from doing the math in my head don't qoute me on that though

ok kool guys thanks so changing the milage screen it will still show miles vs kilometer

i've read something about the 04+ clusters requiring reprogramming at the dealership when you switch or take them apart. not sure much more than that, but i would research it some more before doing it.
