hey guys just tried to swap out a set of seats in my 98 ranger 4 a set of 96 mustang seats. seat tracks are not swappable. so they will not work in my 98 ext cab. just wanted to post for all considering.

 

Do the mustang seats have 4 bolt holes to bolt the seat track on? if so you can drill out a rivet on the ranger seats and bolt them up.

yeah they had 4 bolt holes i did all that and realized that the mustang seat tracks were about 3 inches wider than the ones from my ranger.

edit: it appears your seats are from a 99-04 stang, i wonder if their seat track is narrower.

 

what did you end up doing to get the seat belts working?
