Looking at getting a used Ranger 4x4 extended cab. Probably one between a 2002 and 2005 models. I have a problem though... I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 6 week old. My 2 year olds seat just stays in the car but the baby has her removable carrier that just clicks into the base that stays in the car. From my limited research it does not appear I can put either seat or base in the back extended cab portion. It also looks like the front seat does not have a middle seat belt as most I've seen are bucket seats. Am I screwed or is there another option I'm missing? I did a google search to see if someone made a solid bench front seat that might fit both but came up with nothing. Thanks.

 

It was about 3-4 years ago someone posted his mod for installing car seats in his truck.
IIRC he removed the rear jump seats and fabbed his own setup.I think it was a low bench with tiedowns.
