And I'm the author of the how-to Bob linked (thanks Bob) so I'm available for questions not answered by the how to. It goes from pages 14 for quite a few pages. Pay careful attention to the detail I've provided.

hey John did you get my PM about the additional step for '95-'97 Rangers using the '98-'01 EATC? There is an additional relay needed to send power to the a/c clutch since the '98+ EATC only sends out a low voltage signal to trigger the PCM....then the PCM sends the proper voltage to the a/c clutch..... If you didn't PM me and I will send you the picture and a little text to go with it....that way the how to covers those years......

Sounds good, Maurice, thanks. I'd like to include anything I missed. I'm using a relay in mine anyway. Didn't I set it up that way on the how-to? I thought I did.

I don't think you did....I think you had it just attaching the purple wires together......

When I get home and not on my iPhone, I will post up the relay diagram that I made for it..........then you take a look and see if it is already in the how-to that way.......cause I know for the '95-'97 Rangers you say to use 1 relay for making the "rear fan off" switch work.......

I have a 97 Ranger....if you look on n3elz's Car Domain page, specifically on pages 14-19 it is a very indepth how to on installing the EATC in a '95+ Ranger.......follow it and it will work.....

The EATC will NOT work in a '93-'94 Ranger.....they have different setup and the dashes are different so it will not mount in the dash
