odeometer swap

odeometer swap

i was looking at some silver faced gauges to swap in to my truck but the only thing was mine truck has 95k and the silver ones have 160k on the odometer. Is it possible to swap just the reader out of the back.. any one know? thanks

Yes, when you swap the gauges swap the odometer out of yours into the new one. Very simple

if u don't want to roll the odometer that way just take yours off your current cluster and then bolt it onto the new one....there are only 3 screws holding it onto the gauge cluster.

Hi Ben...

I'm the one who wrote the how-to that's linked above. If you're scared about swapping it, I've got no problem doing the odo roll on the new cluster for ya so long I get a pic of your current milage. I'll even test to make sure the cluster's all functional. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.
