Painted Dome Light

I was bored and wanted to mod something, but couldn't find a good Mustang/Taurus dome in the local boneyard. So, I just masked where the light comes through my stocker and painted it. I think it looks pretty good.

Here it is lit up (I didn't do individual pics for the map lights, you get the idea):

Sorry. Good work. But I think I would just buy a new dome light now.

x3. It dose not look that good. But if your happy with it then go for it. You can find Mustang dome lights and Explorer ones on ebay for around $20.

lol, It's cool, I was bored like I said and wanted to try something (slim pickings in the local JY at the moment, and I hate ebay). It will suffice until the Mustang dome I want materializes.

LOL, I was going to go with the disco light, but I was afraid a stray beam of light would bounce of my gold chains and blind oncoming traffic.

Easy guys. This is what true modding is all about. He didn't go the easy route and buy one ready to install. He looked at the existing light and tried to make his own.

I don't like it. I think using nightshade would have been better. Has anyone done that to the interior lights?
