I have been looking for a shorty console and I have a tan interior, but I built a short console for my Hurst that is black. I would like a black short console to match, but they are very hard to find. So my question is how does the VHT dye hold up? Does it easily scratch? Does it look good, even finish, good coverage? How do I need to prep the console? I know Zabeard did his whole interior, so it must hold up pretty good.

Has it held up good? Can I clean it with armorall?

 

Yeah its held up great, just make sure to prep, prep and prep. I put like 3 coats of clear on mine so its pretty durable. I just wipe mine off with a cloth and it looks great.

I'm still not a fan, maybe if the console wasn't glossy.
