I had a crappy one before but thats long gone now. I still have a radio shack speaker mounted under my hood..not sure if ill need a new one, but the last time it was hooked up it sounded really bad and could barely hear it. I think it was because it was a cheap $49 dollar radio. I just want it for the loud speaker, so an antenna wont be neccessary, although if its not much more I will consider. So any suggestions on a reasonable radio?

 

go to a walmart for a cb you can get one for about 80

 

You sure you had the cb set right? Some cb's run the pa speaker volume with a dedicated switch, some use the mic gain, I've seen a couple different configurations.

I have a nice Midland I'm getting rid of. It came with my truck and it's sole purpose was to run the pa speaker. lol

 

spend yourself about $70 and get yourself a cobra.

 

Alon has Bailey's old one...you can buy that at the Azusa meet...nice little cobra
