help wireing in seats

Icon5 help wireing in seats

I have an 04 ranger ex-cab and just installed in some 2003 exporer seats after re-turning the escape ones! but now i need help with the wireing of them, there are so many wires. is there someone that has done this and can help?

I have wired a set to my 01. what you have to do is pretty easy. with the driver seat their are 2-plugs. remember one of those plugs is actually the pretensioner plugs (airbag plkug) The other one should have 2-wires coming from it. 1-of them you splice it into the green/orange wire below the seat and the other you splice it into the ground wireunder the seat. Some folks run a fuse in between. I did not and everything has worked fine.

Passendger seat is straight forward as it only has a lumbar support. So you have to run power to it. Thats it you are done.

Oh yeadont forget that you have to swap your pretensioners over to the explorer seats otherwise you will get the sirbag light.

what about all the other wires and that big black box

you dont touch the big black box. thats box house relays and controls for the explorer seats. just plkug in the seatbelt connector and splice the above item i already posted.
