After looking in the junk yard, about the only decent seats I could find were in a 2006 Ford Escape.
Will those fit in a 1995 Ranger Extended cab, or is it going to be a major modification?

I too have done it. I just took and cut the feet off the escape seats and welded a set of Ranger seat feet to the escape tracks. My first try, I accidentally made it 2 inches too tall so my head was hitting the roof, so I had to cut another 2 inches off the feet and rewelded it.
