i really want a bench seat i have the buckets with the center console and hate it. i need one that is black with grey inserts. anyone near NC??

 

I would trade you in a heartbeat if I was closer. My seats our gray though. If gas was cheaper I would drive there, I got family there to go see.

I know it's a haul, but the Johnsons' Ford truck and Mustang JY on Bainbridge Rd. (?) in Chesapeake might be worth calling. They move a LOT of parts.

I don't know if you'll ever find a "bench", but 60/40's are common. What color is yours? I might defray your replacement cost by buying yours for my 93 (blue interior) or my 2000 (grey interior). I'd happily put my grey in the 93 as an un-matching upgrade. You get the idea.....

i will get pics up tomorrow i just got off work. they have had seat covers on them since a month after i got the truck over two years ago.

these are some pics i took today i sliped the seat cover bottoms off so you could see they have no wear or no holes AT ALL. the seat covers are not included in the exchange but they can be purchased.

FYI-Not to threadjack but I have the same seats and console I would consider a trade for a 60/40. The 60/40 would have to be black & grey or black & red if they make such a thing. I would also trade my edge mat for carpet.

 

How would i circumvent the airbag sensor if i put these buckets and center console in my 08? this is the only thing stopping me from taking the 434 mile trip to do the swap.

 

All you have to do is swap the seat belt pretensioner if the plugs aren't the same

 

I see. Does the 2004 have the weight sensor in it though? My seat can tell if there is something light sitting in it. The 04 I think just had the on off key. It would be easy for me just to leave the air bag on all the time if that's possible.

 

Dude for the price you could either go to a junkyard and get the parts WAY cheaper, new seats and all...or cutt your existing seats and just order the console off ebay or something.

i have 2005 bench seats in my 01 and they dont have a weight sensor...dunno if that helps though.

 

all my seats have is the plug going into the pretensioner. what year ranger seats will fit my 2004? anything from 01-08?

 

I know my 2008 will fit as they are almost the same seats... only with the bench driver seat (ie 60/40 split)

I guess the only issue would be that the 2008 seats have a stupid weight sensor in the passenger seat. The rivers side airbag is always on, so no weight sensor. I was thinking maybe just swap drivers seats as the pass seat is already a bucket, but the 2004 seats have a higher headrest, so to make it look right, both seats must swapped.d

 

I can send you some pics of my seats. I have the 60/40 and sent pics to the OP but never got a responce back. The only thing with em is that there is two burns on the center console from the cig lighter. I clearly show them in the pic. If not its cool.
