Guage color change

Guage color change

so guys ive been reading alot on changing the color that comes threw the gauges (green). so i attempted it on the thermostat and it turned out pretty decent (ill post pics once its all done). this weekend i wanna do the main gauges, but im not all entry sure how to remove it from the dash, any help on this

I did all of my gauges in blue last summer. If you look at my profile, you will find pictures there. They are alot of work but well worth it. The green ones look like s*** imo. Any questions, just ask

all right guy i think i got it down. ima go start on this bad boy, ill post pics once im done.
and the color i have chosen is purple

hey guys just need some quick help, how to you unhook the speedomiter cable, thats the last thing i need to disconnect

their is a plastic black clip on both sides of the cable where it meets the cluster, actually it;s right their in your picture, push black pin in or out and the unit will pull out.

that's not the speedo cable. 95+ trucks do not have one. that is the gear indiacator piece. as 2001ford was saying, there should be two black tabs to push in and the whole piece will slide down. or you can follow the thin wire down and unloop it from the gear shift.

thanks guys for your help, i just ended taking the gauge apart with the cable still on .


i messed up when putting the pins back on so today i gotta go back to em

but im happy with how it looks
