Standard Cab 5 speed interior swaps

Im wanting to attempt to make a little more room in my truck by switching to bucket seats and a diffrent center console

I have a 93 5 speed and am wanting pics with ideas.

I have searched and found some good ideas.

Im hopinh to find a little shoter seat or maube one I can take the head rest out of so I can lean it back a little further.

Also a place I can store misc crap and a drink holder that works.

Assuming you have the 60/40 bench, Id just cut the center console part off the seat, and your headrests too, to make lowback buckets...You will probably want someone to make you some custom seat covers afterwards, but it might still be cheaper than buying new seats all together...and you get to chose what kind/color of fabric you want to go with too.

That being said...I cut the headrests off of mine and it might have been a good or bad thing when I was rear ended. I was tall enough that had the seat been its normal height, I would have hit it where my spine meets my skull and that would have been no bueno...But since it wasnt there, my head hit the back window enough to give me a nice little concussion. So do it at your own risk.

Maybe I will try that and put seat covers on it. I dought they go for enough money to try to sell them

Have you thought about that Cupholder that mounts to the front of the bench? It's what I have along with the shifter/Cupholder styled one.

Josh K,
Where did you go with this ?
Any luck ?

My ’03 had the side frame unbolt from the drivers seat frame, funny no one else had this.
I ended up selling my seats but not the Tracks, just unbolted those too and bolted them on to a set of Ranger Bucket from P.C.
I found out also that the passenger seats from a 60/40 setup is the same as any std bucket seat. The seat pans have all of the holes needed to swap them from passenger side to driver’s side.
Only problem that might come up is the back support section, if you want the adjustable lower back support you need to add that in.
