Switch on radio bezel

How should i go about safely drilling a hole for the switch to my neons in my radio bezel without screwing it up? i really don't want to have to buy a new one if i dont have to. Thanks. would drilling it from the back be best? or would it mess up that rubber coating on the front?

i dunno if you could but get like a starter hole going, on most things u can use a punch but i'd wouldnt do that on plastic. so try just a very small bit and keep some pressure on it so it wont travel on you. once u got small hold go up in size and then up in size until u got what u want.

put some masking tape over the spot you want to drill, start small and work your way up to the size you need.
