Disregard me asking about if there's holes or not on the LMC vinyl....page linked has a description that says they're not cut.

Interesting thing I noticed.....The discription for the LMC floor....is almost the exact same as the OP's site he linked...

Haha, I wouldn't actually put a hose to it, but i want to be able to get some water and a scrub brush in there without too much water finding its way underneath. Rust is the enemy especially with our long wet winters.. I am going to rustproof the crap out of the floor before i put the liner back in as well. Getting rid of my bed liner for a spray in one for the same reason.

HAHA...makes more sence to me now. lol.

Yeah...you'll be fine. I take a wet rag to mine and scrub it with a brush. I've sometimes finished that off with a vinyl spray....but...make sure you'vegot a centerconsole BOLTED TO THE FLOOR, otherwise, it'll be zipping towards the back wall ALL the time!! Ask a member in an orange truck about that. HAHA.

Indeed...I found this out in approx MARCH! a whopping 3 months since snow when it got in there. lol....smelled AWESOME!! I found a frekin' slug....A FREAKING SLUG between the jute and the vinyl. Could have either been there a while or got in there when the vinyl was outside a few days ago. HAHA.

I think you already said, but would it be possible for you to unpack it and take some pics to share with us? I'm reallllly leaning toward getting the LMC or the one linked in the OP if this '09 auto take-out floor doesn't work out the way I want it to.

Finally got home. Had to say over till noon. The vinyl is all wrinkly because it's been sittin in my cold basement for a couple weeks. The instructions in the box said it would go back to its molded state after laying out for a while. There are no holes in it. It's just a square piece of vinyl basically.

The jute isn't attatched and it's not very big so I orderd the insulation mat to put down on my truck instead. It has an aluminum backing and it's a lot bigger. And it was only $30 more so I thought, why not.

Included with the vinyl:

Is that an '09 Ford factory floor? If so, it won't fit correctly in your '01. A 2004~2009 factory Ranger floor is contoured on the PS to clear the SJB. It would leave about a 3" gap on that side if installed in a 98~2003.

We have big rolls of sound dampener at work, not sure what brand it is but it works awesome, its a think rubber/tar sheet with a peel and stick back, I put it on the back of my license plate and its so pliable i cold mold it right into the indents of the letters,, no more buzzzing at certain exhaust resonances.

Very good point, Bob. I always forget about that fuse panel over there! lol. It wont work for me anyhow...has a hole just like my existing hole for the shifter....and...that's too large for my 02-03 twin stick setup.

OH...BTW...I've got your old RCM cover installed on my truck now too btw. THANKS!! I've got a piece of Ranger history on the ol' DWB Fx4wannabe.

I don't believe that there was ever a factory vinyl floor for the 4-door Supercab that would allow the small cutout for the 02/03 twin stick bezel. At least, I was never able to find one. Now that my truck has an automatic, my floor has been converted from the unique FX4 manual/manual carpet to the vinyl floor from the 01~03 Edge 4-dr S/C. The large hole is covered by the Ex console.

Don't want it. Easy as that. I did however get my carpet samples from them.

Yupyup. Thanks for your insight, Bob.

Guys i order from the first site mentioned. neither vinyl from either company have precut holes. you would have to cut your own. both application comes with 2-3inc more vinyl up front, rear and sides. its more thicker than oem and the jute padding comes with the vinly but is not pre-glue already. I like this idea since cutting through the jute padding is difficult to cut.

Also to the poster who stated that the dealership vinyl is $100-$125. I dont know what dealer you went through but I am getting consistence price for $215 from 4 different dealers. It really does not matter what I just ordered from the site came to $164.

Martine, is the piece contoured for the truck or is it flat?
Removing my jumpseats exposed the flooring. I'd love to have something oversized that I can trim down.

yes the vivnyl is conformed from a factory mold. it is the same and have the hump and certain areas already conform because it comes from the factory mold once again. however they have added in the makeup more vinyl on the front and back and sides. it looks really nice. i love the fact that i cut my own holes because when i deleted the bucket seats i no longer needed to see the middle seat passenger holes in the floor. :)

I got my vinyl out of an 05 4 door fx4 and it fits perfect in my 01, the gap on the passenger side is completely covered by the trim. got it for $20 from a yard. the took it to the car wash and power washed the dirt grime and what may have been dried blood off. scrubbed it with 409 and armoralled it and it looks brand new.
