So from what range of years can I get explorer seats from that will work in my truck? The newer the better. Or do certain years have better seats?

Is $100 for a set of full power seats in good condition from a 2000a steal?

Do the seat tracks on the full power explorer seats fit ok into the standard cab rangers? Anything else I should worry Unnecessarily about?

Best bet would be to test fit them.
I had a set of Explorer Seats and swapped them for Ranger Buckets with extended cab tracks.
I swapped the tracks from the standard cab seats to the ext cab seats but again they were Rangers seats and they bolted in.

The ext cab tracks are longer as the Explorer Seat Tracks so my thought the tracks will need rework to fit.
Even in an Ext Cab Ranger the Explorer Seat Tracks need to have some rework on the rear bolt locations, opening up the holes.

Here is some posting on track swapping.
