I need to buy some mounts, I want to mount it across the jack cover. Has anyone on here done the Mag85 mod? I cant seem to find the bulbs anywhere. I have an aspherical lens on the way though.

That is an awesome place for it, I wish my ranger had a compartment like that.
I still prefer four doors though.

 

Mine is attached to the side of my sub box with drywall screws. I only used one of the mounts and it holds it perfectly.

im going to mount mine on in the jump boxes behind my passenger seat like FRXLT, i would to it at the oh **** handle, but if you ever got in a wreck, that thing would become a lethal projectile! i have a blue shorty one with the LED upgrade!

 

Only used 1 bracket. Had it there since Nov/Dec, and its held up.

 

I got mine from the local True Value store for $5.76 and mounted it on the plastic strip right above the driver side window. Pics will come tomorrow morning!

 

Anyone find some metal clips? I've broken 2 of the plastic ones so far. Not even being rough, just when I put the torch back in it widens the crappy plastic too much.
