09 East Coast Meet - Headcount

Ok so for those that don't know the meet is being held at Oregon Inlet, NC. Most of us will be camping, it is $20 a night to camp. There are hotels about 30-40 minutes away in Kitty Hawk/Kill Devil Hills/Nags Head, NC that you can stay in. The dates are July 17th-19th, I and some other members will be there on Thursday night and maybe Monday/Tuesday. There is access to the beach 100 yards a way, we'll probably hang out at the beach for most of the day. I'm thinking about everyone being on their own for food, its easier that way. There are grills at each campsite and I bet a few people will bring grills down with them. Up in Nags Head and Kitty Hawk there is a ton to do, lots of food, movies, putt-putt, etc so we won't be totally bored if it rains or something.

Soooo whos coming???

Yeah I can bring mine too, I'll have to see if it will fit under the tonneau. I'll grab a big cooler too and stuff. I can probably bring 1-2 tents if someone needs one as well

I'll try to come for the day, most likely Sunday but we'll see.

I'll be returning from a week in CT on the 17th, so it'll be one of THOSE weekends.

But I really intend to get over and meet you guys. It's only 1.3 hr. drive from my house.

I am in +1. Will someone be collecting money for the camp sites so we can reserve all at one and the campsites be together?

What we can probably do is reserve over the phone and everyone pay when they get there. I can put down a deposit or whatever.

I was doing a lil research and came up with a few different camping ground for Oregon Inlet, Nc. Yahoo puts me at 5 1/2 hours away and it would suck getting there and finding out I reserved at the wrong camp ground. If you put down a deposit or pay and just let me know I can get you the money when you do.

I think its one tent per campsite, I don't see why you couldn't sleep in the truck.

Link, its the first one:

Cool deal. I have never been to the OBX. Honestly up until about 2 years ago I thought it was a city like VA beach until I saw a map of OBX and realized that is a strip of islands and land off the coast of NC.
