weather update: high 16* snow showers, light winds.

 

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my gas tank shows up today so I can get it in tomorrow morning, and hopefully have it ready by 2. I don't think the previous owner ever drove it like he told me, because there was a hole and a pretty long crack in the top of the tank, and the bottom was completely covered in varnish that clogged up the fuel pickup as soon as I started driving it, yet it ran perfectly in the garage.

Kevin, i'd still offer to pick you up if its not driveable. but i think my gf is coming with as well.

 

Well, I won't be making it. The tank didn't show up today so I re-checked the tracking info and the new estimated delivery date is Monday. I'm pissed since I paid for next business day shipping and ordered it Thursday morning.

 

that sucks. it sems like next day delivery only works if you order before 8am. after that, they claim "our daily shipments have gone out" therefore making you wait an additional day. AND if you order after 8 am on a thursday, you'll get your item on Monday, because weekends are not considered "delivery days"

 

Sorry guys wont be able to make this one. We should definitely make plans for a spring meet though!

 

the meet was a bust! Myself, matt & andrew showed up onlyto discover the DNR or city of Andover had plowed the entrance to the lake closed. meet ended around 2:45.
this lake will no longer be the MN Ice meet location anymore.
