has anyone ever thought about a nationwide meet? we could have the meet in the middle of the us.. w/e that might be. and we could do it on the date that the sight was created.. anyone have their thoughts?

 

if you live in central U.S., you might only have to drive a mile to the event, while others may have to drive 2000 miles. A national event would never work.
seperate state/region events are more practical.

 

yep, like anywhere in the mid US would be a pain for all of us from the west coast

having been a past member of a Cougar club in SoCal, we used to have a 'national' show that was hosted by our club. It was open to anyone, but when we had our show in SoCal we would get people from around New Mexico, Colorado and Montana on west. Even some Canadians showed up. Its possible to make a national style show work, but it has to be regional too....

BTW the east coast guys had their own event too. same style. It worked well for us. a Ranger only show that could pull a couple hundred trucks would rock. Just gotta make ti open to customs, minitrucks, offroaders and everything in between.

 

maybe if you managed.. somehow to link multiple forums.. maybe.
