OK... I'll probably regret this idea but here's the plan... I'm heading to Des Moines, IA to visit my cousin in October. The idea is to be in Des Moines for all or part of the weekend of the 16th - 18th. I have the 13th through the 20th off and I want to meet as many people as possible. A place to stay would be great too.

Also I wanna meet my buddies in MI so I've decided I'm willing to go as far as Indianapolis.

I know it's really far in advance but I'm a planner and just want to know what I'm gonna do. Also I'm trying to gauge interest 'cause if I end up driving there and turning around to drive back then I'll just can the idea and fly.

 

Oh! Marie! If you make it to Ohio I'll have room! Lol jk.

Maybe I'll head to Indy to get a picture next to the legend and her GO BL'd Ranger!

In all fairness she is driving very very far so i think we should do it in illinois and have you come to us. but in the end its up to her and im for the meet in either state

 

Marie, what way are ya going? Cause I'm thinking, I could drive anywhere between here and South Dakota real easy in less than a days drive, catch grub, see if the Colorado folk end up wanting to go as well.

Ya got that right lol. You should drive about 300 miles north of des Moines.

 

My cousin wants to go to the Mall of America while I'm out there... and I'd love you meet you guys but I don't wanna go near Minneapolis... if I saw the ex I'd kill him... haha

 

It's probably faster to run through on I-90.

You'd be taking a huge detour if you headed up my way. Although, St. Ignatius is a beautiful drive, so I suppose I could meet you there, lol.

 

Where are you Jim? (address is at home) From my memory it was Columbia Falls and I mapped it 'cause you were gonna be my 1st stop but no go if that's the case... haha

And yeh, i'm taking I-90 then south through Souix Falls... skipping Minnesota... haha

 

I-90 runs through a town called St. Ignatius which is like, 100 miles form me, I think.

If you took Highway 2, you would run right through where I live, but that's a long drive, lol.

I would be willing to meet somewhere out in Missoula area, but October is way to far out to plan for me, I don't even know what im doing tomorrow lol
