Guess I should have spelled it out fully.

I've ran the creek 4 or 5 times now. I love it.

One time. Friend bent the inner lip on her rim. Had to beat the hell out of it to get it to hold air.

Buddy and I ran all the blacks and red (we could atleast) one weekend.

So tempting. But I don't have a reliable rig right now.

Im out. I had a really bad 4 wheeling experience last night. Long story short I was a couple degrees away from rolling my truck about 500' down a rock/grass field. I was in 2wd and I came up to a slight hump in the road and I soon as I hit it, both back tires spun and the driver side rear fell off the trail. followed by the driver side front. Im currently hyperventilating and in the process of having a heart attack. I put it in 4lo , I managed to get the truck to turn in reverse to where I was almost perpendicular with the road. Needless to say that where I was at was an abandoned mine reclamation area. so there are very big rocks along the road. after about 15 minutes of reverse-drive-reverse-drive. I got out and started stacking rocks. In the process I managed to break my right pointer finger.(at least we think its broken). It was the 1st and last time I will ever rock crawl with my truck lol. not only can I not believe I got out, I cannot believe I got out without damaging the truck at all. praise jebus! I feel pretty confident that if I wouldve had a normal ranger, Im not so sure I wouldve been able to get out

Well I gotta get mt turbo truck done then I can start on my SAS. I'm tired of breaking the Dana 35. Just haven't decided if I want to go full width or EB.

I'm open to suggestions from everyone. And I don't know if I should go with spools or lockers.

hmm full width... the trails arent really that tight up there, and if ur gonna drive it on trails only i'd say lockers, but if ur gonna street drive it every now and then, then go with spools

Joe you have that backwards. Streeter will be a locker, trail is a spool.

If you want to run it on the street then EB. If you have a tow rig then full width.....

I would have thought the other way around Joe. The spool makes both axles turn at exactly the same speed all the time.

And I would like to be able to drive it on the street but then I would have to either go with short axles or extend the fenders way out.

Don't have a tow rig yet but I have been looking for one since the last time I was wheeling with you guys.

I hate to do this but...

I'M OUT...

I hate the cold and the last 2 days have just reminded me. LOL. Calling for in the 20's with a wintery mix.

I will tell you guys with drum brakes to stay out of the water, Unless your locked you will have major problems with froze wheels. Also if it is a wintery mess stay away from the west side. Trail J, H and the power line are on the dark side of the hill and become very dangerous in the late afternoon.

Sorry guys. See you in the spring.

I'd be up for it in the spring. I would stay away from the hard trails though my truck is my DD.

Actually I am going to sit this one out. I have been thinking about it and if it is supposed to get bad up there I don't think my truck would like the mountains in 2wd.
