I don't think I will have the Ranger done by then (waiting on coilover brackets) so I probably won't be able to make it this time.

I'll probably be getting mine torn apart about that time so we'll be in the same boat.

We have people from Roswell, Las Cruces, Hobbs, Alamogordo, Albuquerque, and El Paso, Texas, right? So wouldn't the central location be Roswell or Ruidoso area?

El Paso to Roswell - 207 miles
Albuquerque to Roswell - 203 miles
Alamogordo to Roswell - 119 miles
Hobbs to Roswell - 122 miles
Las Cruces to Roswell - 185 miles

How about October 18th? It would give me time to finish my Ranger, RazorsEDGE time to finish his Ranger (I assume), be on a Sunday so RazorsEDGE could go (if finished), and give everyone a little more time to make plans.

By the way, everyone should join the NM group I created. I created it with the same intentions as this thread.

Edit: Spc_Austin, you're welcome too!

I doubt I'd be finished with my truck that fast. I'm probably gonna be looking at a month or two of downtime. I could probably put off tearing it down until after that though. I'll just have to see whats going on that weekend and make sure nothings going on. What are we gonna be doing? Trails? Or just hanging out or what?

I wouldn't dream of hitting a trail without a strap.

Most of the trails around Roswell are pretty mild. The only thing you may get stuck in is sand around river beds. The rough trails are around the Ruidoso area. There are some trails there that even us 4x4 guys would not even dream of getting through.

Roswell was just a proposed idea though, so if someone wants to go somewhere else just speak up. I'm open to anything as long as it's not too far.
