Alright I made some calls today. I knew Springfield required you to call the fire dept. if you had planned a bonfire/ceremonial fire. In order to qulify to have a fire and sit around a B/S

it can be no more than 5' x 5' x 5' in dimension and shall burn no longer than 4 hours. If it is the above those dimension a permit is required for a small fee of $62.00

So I figure if we wanna have a fire we can make a small one in the back yard that is not gonna be huge.

Still need some input from you guys and if you want to bring some wood with you. I have some but not enough

thats crazy but I know some cities require it. Fire or no, it should be fun to sit around and BS!

have the old one rebuilt, much cheaper than another one.

I know I can have one rebuilt the company I work for started a company like that about 6 years ago so I can have them do it I just don't have the 75 bucks they want to do it LOL

they wont take IOU's either

Got the gap guards made for the bed and test fit them on my ruck so those are ready to go!!

That's what I keep telling my self

My boy and I had a fire last year with no problems

I figure we don't get carried away with a fire we are good to go

But if we start trying to see how high we can get it that's where we may get a visit

That's weak

You know how far Christopher Columbus traveled? He had to cross freaking water. You at least have the comfort of a/c and radio
