LOL thanks for throwing me under the bus Joey :P I think the site we used to get was a 20 or 40$ rental fee. Parking in there for the day when you get there is like 5$ a vehicle. One year, some guy (dont remember his name, but was in the Army and had a white F 150) brought a nice grill. If yall wanna do this, me AND trent can do this probably lol, not doing it by myself

There really isn't much to planning it. I say everyone should bring one food item that way it splits cost up. We need one person to bring a grille and 1-2 to volunteer cooking. And then just one person to reserve the picnic shelter, I don't mind splitting the cost for that either. Maybe Ryan and I can do that and you can handle the rest Tony?

What dates are good for you guys?

 

grills are all ready there ... other than Ryan or Trent taking a ride to the park to pay the pavilion,datE,time and what grubb is needed thats all we need .
If i was not 2-1/2 hours away i would take care of the park issue so Ill throw Ryan under that bus lol

 

I have a gas grill i can bring, a cooler,, small table, and thats about it. I can commit to it on any saturday or sunday

 

I can do that, I think I'm the closest anyway and I like going over there. We just need to figure out a date. Do we want to do it late may, june or later in the summer?

 

I say may 1st 10 to 10:30am till when ever
its nice cool time of the year and early enough so some people wont be driving home all night and still have plenty of time to hang out

I can't do May 1st, I'll be in Banner Elk. Scott when is that race in May again? Where doing it at Jordan Lake, I think its the Ebenezer point pavilion.

Yeah I can't do May 1st or May 22nd, I'll be in Banner Elk both weekends. Any other time than that I should be good though. Scott you can bring your boat, Jordan even has a special jon boat area. I'll probably have my kayaks with me and do some fishing. I know theres normally a couple of other boats and sometimes a jet ski people bring.

Woo i'm getting excited, I can't wait until summer.

No I can't, I have to help my girlfriend move out of the dorms that day. Shes an RA so she can't leave until that day and she has to be there all day to check people out and inspect rooms.
