Been working on a 2002 trans install in my 01 both are automatic after installing 3 02 trans finally got it the end on the torque convertor is about 3/8 inch to long cut it off works fine. Now that was a hard lesson to learn looked every where on internet no real answer some said 02 wouls work some said no it would now. I hope this helps anybody that needs it. And yes I would have went with a 01 trans. but could not find one.
