thank you guys! yeah i live close robert. just a few miles away.. anytime your ready to start tearing into it. i would just go with a turbcoupe motor with like a LA3 computer to keep it simple and reliable.. stock internals hold like 400 rwhp or something crazy.. Yeah Chris i can't wait either!

Nice! I've got a short block from an 87 turbocoupe sitting in the shop. I'm going to steal the pistons from them for my build. I've got a header and injectors, but my build probably won't be finished anytime soon...need to finish college first.
What are the plans for this build?? 2.3t are a sick motor.

plans for this build is a/c delete, new header, hurst shifter, thought about a new clutch since i blew off the last stage 3 spec... but i think that was due to a bad slave. and wanting to do a 8.8, and i am wanting to get that new AEM water meth kit with the new pump... more timing more power!
the headlights... not a product i would buy again..idk i just wasnt pleased.. they fit good just sometimes they fog up once in a while.
No vids yet. i will post some this spring when i get her back on the road.. and trust me she sings at 25lbs of boost.. :)

Just curious what you did with the wasted spark setup, I noticed you moved it to fit your turbo.

Mazda b2500 turbo build.
I realize this thread is old ASF but, what kind of exhaust manifold did you use to bolt up to the turbo?? Im trying to turbo my b2500 with the 2.5l and I'm debating on whether I could use an old SVO manifold or not. I've got everything worked around besides the manifold lol. If I can't bolt the turbo up in the engine bay I was thinking about putting the intercooler and turbo in the bed of the truck and slapping on a tonoe cover.
