Hey! I finally got around to involving myself in a community where I believe can answer my tons of questions involving my truck! There were some things I wanted to do, and after reading the results of 1 or 2 searches, now I have a HUGE to-do list with my pickup! I have a Mazda B2500 99' SE. Simple, regular cab pickup, but I've had her since 16,615 miles, and now she sports 82,700! And EVERY SINGLE oil change has either been FULL synthetic, or syntec blend oil. I'm picky that way. . . but other than that, she's fully stock!


Mods I wish to do
1. CHANGE THE SEAAAAATSS They are DESTROYING my back =( I've read quite a few things, I'll be searching even more once I start actually scavenging for the seats around junkyards.
2. Cluster. Driving stick with no tachometer is . . . well it plain sucks!
3. Figure out what I read somewhere around here about the power steering using ATF?!?


This seems like an amazing forum! I also belong to Honda | Acura Research, Reviews, Performance Parts, Owners - Honda-Tech.com because I own a 94 honda del Sol, and I love the idea of being able to contribute, and benefit from a community full of knowledge and experience!

welcome juan, on the cluster, look for a sport trac cluster, they are factory white face gauges with a tach, what seats do you have in it?

Welcome and yea its type F trans fluid that works for power steering. but not the other way around lol.

 

Thanks! And I have the stock vinyl seats, I believe 60/40? But without the center console. I want the Explorer seats! I'm copy pasting all the info I find about the seats so I can print it out and then go hunting around junkyards!



Wait, I put regular PS fluid in, should I drain it out and use Type F ATF??? =) Thanks in advanced!
