Been awhile!

Just wanted to stop by and say hello because I have not been on here in awhile. Some on here might remember me.I used to have a blue 2000 XLT Ranger. After owning it 7 years and driving 200,000 miles,it was time for a new truck.I bought a new 2007 Explorer Sport Trac Limited in Pueblo Gold.I have mixed feelings about it.I am very happy with the build quality and the smooth ride but I miss my Ranger alot. The Sport Trac is too carlike for me.It feels like I am driving a Lincoln, which is what I think Ford was aiming for.I almost bought another Ranger but I got a smoking deal on the Sport Trac.Plus, when you look at how many more features you get for such little more money it made sense at the time.Traction control,Roll Stability Control,Independent Rear Suspension,Side Impact Airbags were all standard on the Sport Trac and not even an option on the Ranger. All for a sticker price less than $3000 more than the Ranger. But I kind of wish I would have gone with the Ranger instead.I may consider looking at another Ranger before they quit making them.BTW,here is a pic of the old truck:

And a couple of pics of the new truck:

I saw Brian a few months back.We worked together for a couple of years but the company laid him off about a year ago.We have kept in touch every few months or so.He said he was thinking about selling the Ranger. He mainly is spending time working on/racing his Miata.I have not talked to Q. in a couple of years.Hope all is well with you D.
