my bright lights went out -its not the bulbs but the arm on steering colum that wont work as well as the indicater on my dash panel..what is this part called and how come there are not any part sites dedicated to females for this kind of question..lol..thanks guys --bls suzy 1998 ford ranger truck

Look under Steering Column > Shroud switches and levers > Combo Switch

Typically this combo switch can go out. that is assuming you have checked your Bright light relay and fuse.
