Building a wannbe...
I purchased a '97 2.3L 4X2. I plan on lifting it to meet a set of either 235/75/R15's or a set of 265/75/R16's. Will I need to go 2" on the 235's and 4" on the 265's? This will save alot of measuring and ciphering on ordering the lift and what-not.

Have a read here: http://www.therangerstation.com/how-..._fitment.shtml
Those are usually for 4x4s so add an inch of lift, two inches to be sure
You will want to change the rear axle ratio with a 4cyl and larger tires
1997 should still have the speedometer gear setup on the trans tail shaft so you will just need a new Driven Gear change to calibrate electronic speedometer for new tire size and/or rear axle ratio
