I realize that I didn't do my due diligence and intro myself. I've been on the lookout for a little while for a "small 4x4 pickup". Rangers floated up to the top because of the general availability and seemingly good reputation. I've spent about a week reading and searching the forums and I am going to look at one today. PERHAPS, I will need to change the title of my thread, then.

Anyway, don't have one. Probably getting a "mechanics special" later in the day. We'll see.

Thanks I replied. Turns out I'm in the wrong forum (see that reply). I'm sure I'll be around and all over reading this place.

But, I'm an owner now. 1998 Ranger with the extended cab. Green in color. 5 speed, 3.0L. It's a fixer upper, but solid.
