Hi everyone, my name is Jake and I'm from Waukon, Iowa. My Ranger is the second vehicle I've ever owned the first being a rusty 1993 Honda Civic LX. I got this truck after my Civic decided to blow a head gasket which cost me a grand to fix and then ended up blowing the new head gasket. My family knew a banker in another town who had to repo this Ford Ranger from a old hippy who couldn't make the payments. I didn't have to think twice about getting it I just had to come up with the money for the down payment of $1,200.

My Ranger is a 2002 XLT Supercab 4x4 4.0L V6 Manual 5 Speed. It had 112,800 miles on it when I got it back in May now it has around 118k. Overall I love this truck.

In the very near future I plan to do a roll on bedliner and change out all the gauge cluster bulbs to LED bulbs since half of them are burned out.

Attached are some pics of my truck after a hand wash with Turtle Wax Ice car wash. Yes I know the drivers side mirror isn't the original. Apparently when they repoed the truck the drivers side mirror was gone...so they took it to a auto body shop and I guess they couldn't find the correct mirror.

 

lol welcome but that mirror is WTF! lol why couldnt they just change both mirrors? its not like they are even hard to find!
