Well I'm not very good at introductions so here we go. I bought 2000 ranger 6 years ago and I was really trying to get a Toyota sr5 extended cab 4x4 but if you've ever lived in the pacific northwest you know they're impossible to get used. So I bought the truck I have today. I'd talk crap about it and call it a POS but I'll tell you what it kept up with my friends in they're Toyota's and Jeeps. It even towed a trailer from Seattle to CT. of course with only a 3.0L and a 5 spd. I could only do about 40 Mph. up any little hill. So since I couldn't afford anything else I kept with it. Begrudgingly I come to really respect it. It still bothers me that there doesn't seem to be many aftermarket parts but I couldn't really afford them if there were. So here we are 6 yrs. and $21,000 later she's all mine. I think it's time to make her into something I'd like and that's why I've joined this site to see what can be done and how to do it on a budget.
