Remote fob

Just bought an '08 Ranger & didn't get a remote fob with it. I have an old '03 fob. Can I use this fob? I know how to program it. I don't want to destroy the security system & have the truck not to start. Thanks.

just try and program it as long as you know how to do it, and see if it works, you wont destroy anything it will either work or not. good luck and welcome to r-f.
