Welcome to the forum
I like Ford trucks and GM cars
I am 62 now, owned and driven foreign and domestic
I am tall, 6'4" don't fit in most foreign or Ford cars, not sure why Fords put it's car seats so high???
Most GM cars are OK, seats go low enough and head room is OK
Used both GM and Ford trucks over the first 15-20 years, always used vehicles
Found that the Chevy's were nickle and dime'ing me to death, not the expense just the nuisance of having to put on ANOTHER WATER PUMP, or ANOTHER STARTER MOTOR, and window cranks or ***** and buttons breaking
Fords didn't do that, they did break, and cost the same as Chevy's added up nickles and dimes, but I would go much longer between problems.
Also I seem to fit in Ford trucks better, GMs trucks are OK but Fords seem more comfortable
And Rangers........dang they got the leg room with extended cab and head room with that high cab roof
