im from the egg harbor city area in NJ.

i just got rid of a 2006 VW GTi 2.0T (too many engine problems)

Welcome to R-F!

On a side note, how did you like the 2.0T in terms of power? I've been told they arent really any quicker than a 1.8T.. I've had good luck with my 1.8T so far, no CEL's lol

Welcome. I am also from south jersey.

I am sure you wouldn't want to but we have meets and ride through wharton state forest often. You could show up for the meet and ride along with someone if you wanted though.

the 2.0T is actually a little faster than the 1.8T. the car weighs about 57 or so more lbs. than the cars with the 1.8T but they 2.0T's have 207 HP and 215TQ while the 1.8T's had about 175 HP and 190 TQ. Not much numeric difference, but when you drive a 1.8T and then get in a 2.0T, you can tell the difference. I loved that car, except when it was in the shop every other 2 weeks. i had a Forge BOV and did it sound great an get alot of attention. i had to get rid of it. too many things wrong with then new computer system.
and now i hear they are having problems with the new R32's........tisk tisk.....oh well. i no longer have a "Vee Dubb" lol

and bryanjints, id love to take the truck off the road, but i dont think ill ever have time. i work 6 days a week. :/

and since some ***hole keyed my driver side door on friday night, i HAVE to get that fixed.
"...it looks bad dude"
"yeah, i know....i dont even want to drive it no more....."
"oh, get over it......nah, your rights it is that bad....."
lol
