Hi, I just bought a 2007 Ranger XL with a 7' bed from a dealer. It's mostly to haul my toys around locally...kayaks and bicycles. It has less than 70,000 on the clock. I also got the CarFax from the dealer. An item on it I want to share. It has had 6 Wheel Bearing(s)/Hub Replaced in less than 16,000 miles over a period of 6 1/2 years. Of course, we know that a CarFax may not have complete info, that there may have been more replacements. 8/11/2015 44,068. Wheel Bearing(s)/Hub Replaced 4/28/2017. 48,230. Wheel Bearing(s)/Hub Replaced7/9/2017 No Mileage Wheel Bearing(s)/Hub Replaced 6/6/2018. 50,862. Wheel Bearing(s)/Hub Replaced 5/19/2021. 57,511. Wheel Bearing(s)/Hub Replaced 1/19/2022. 59,996. Wheel Bearing(s)/Hub Replaced.

I perused this forum and found some that have replaced these parts, but not with the frequency of this vehicle. So I'm putting this off to faulty installations. My inspection of the vehicle did not turn up a problem with the bearings or hub. Just wondering if anyone else has had to replace these parts too frequently. It looks like they haven't been replaced in about 10,000 miles...so they seem to have been done correctly this last time. Thanks for spending time reading this. Gary
