Greetings
Evening Folks. I'm new as a member, but I've been pirating advice and information here for some time. Figured I should make it formal and join. I've recently acquired a 94 XLT with standard cab and 4.0, 4x4, and it's the perfect vehicle for an old retired goat such as myself. It fits my canoe, row boat, lumber, and misc. loads to perfection. I haven't quite figured out whether I'm stealing a bit of time from fishing and hunting and my artwork in order to do some construction projects for myself and friends, or whether I'm stealing a bit of time from the projects to get outdoors. I'm not much of a wrench turner. Haven't done much mechanical since I was in my 20's, but I do alright with it. My most recent project was opening the pumpkin and yanking the axles for a rear seals and brake overhaul on the XLT. With help form threads here, I evidently got it right, since that was about 400 miles ago, and nothing bad has happened since. It brought back memories, and mostly reminded me that it was a whole bunch easier sliding under a vehicle 40 years ago. The upside is that I've acquired a ton more tools and bit more patience, and a clean garage floor to work on.
