Hello!
Hi all,
I live in Denver, CO and picked up a 2002 Ford Ranger 4x4 (2wd, 4hi, 4low), Steel body and I think I am in love. I've driven it from Denver to LA and back through just about every weather condition possible and it's been a beast. However, my 4hi is sticking and I hope to find some help/advice with that. I can provide videos as well if I can figure out how to post them...Anyways,
I am looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome to the herd!
Lots of friendly+knowledgable folks in these forums.
Same DriveTrain here, just a year earlier: V6~4.0~SOHC Engine + 5r55e Tranny + 1354 TransferCase + 4.10 Difs + ...
The 4x4ShiftMotor, mounted on back side of TransferCase (directly under DriverSeat), is notorious for getting weak with age.
The 4x4ControlMod, mounted behind RightFrontKickPanel or behind Radio, is also a notorious failure item.
Both relatively easy to replace.
Several other notorious quirks with these trucks: ThermoStatHousing, TimingTensioners, Tranny, BearingHubs, InstrumentCluster...
Get familiar with & address these sooner than later & you'll keep things running reliably.
