hello everyone, i'm Nino new to the forum

My name is Nino Bruno and i'm a mechanic/service manager, i've been doing this for about 17 years now and have been a ford man for most of them. my 2 vehicles are a 1996 ford ranger ext cab 3.0 4x4 and my 2nd is a 1984 Mustang SVO thats pretty tricked out. my SVO is on hold for the time being and decided to investing some time into the ranger with very mild mods. If I can be of assistance to anyone that needs some knowlage or advise I'll be more than happy to help and I'm sure I might pick someone's brain from time to time.

If you've gad time at a ford dealership, maybe you can shed some light.

The CPS sensor assembly is blamed a lot for frying engines on a 3.0.

From your experience, is this overblown myth or a legitimate concern?
