Bought a 03 4X4 last fall. It has111000 miles on it and it's in very good shape. Changed all oils in it to Amsoil except transmission. I read a while back your gauranteed problems with your tranny if you change the oil. Any truth to that?

I would do the trans if I was you. Unless you know it was never done before, then I would let it alone. If the truck is in good shape I would assume it was done before and go for it.
