Hey There, this truck is too fun.

Hey there,

I wanted to explore the wealth of ranger info here. I picked up a 2011 XLT with super low miles in late'2019'. I didn't grow up a "Ford fan" in general, but it checked the wish list features & It's awesome.
I'm having fun kinda beating it up a bit using as a work truck & tooling around, but It's still under 50kmi.
I need to replace the tires soon & generally take better care. (Also, why I'm here is to look up random stuff/motivate.)

About me; Decent car IQ & have always been a gearhead/tomboy. Experience ranges from lying about my age to be in a demo-derby, to working in powertrain & evap engineering.
It'll be fun to roam around for info nuggets. Thanks!

Thanks! Here she is, "Renegade Ranger" is her name. It's the 4.0 v6,auto trans, 4x4, Canadian used import.
It also needs a bunch of TLC. I wear like 20 hats, & am embarrassed at condition, don't judge me, lol. Yet I'm also kinda proud to use it for it's intended purpose as a work truck & make ford earn the respect.
Thanks again! I'll be exploring tires & maybe bed liner options first.

Not every truck is similar, but my 2003 Ranger has been the most reliable and fun truck I will probably ever own. I guess I truly like it because I've driven it daily for over 13 years now with no plans to get rid of it.

I hope you will end up feeling the same way about yours, and that you experience the same reliability that I have with mine.

I got some new tires!
I went with some Cooper AT3's. I'm happy with em so far, got to test em in a good downpour.
Super thanks for the feedback on here for deciding what to get.

Next I need to up my wheel & trim detail game.
