Hello! My name is Darrell, and I'm from Moses Lake, WA. I'm 17, and (finally) looking to purchase my first vehicle. I like trucks, the parking lots here are tiny, and I'm a Ford guy... all of this resulted in my decision that I want a Ranger. I'll do my best to remember to post a string of questions asking advice and opinions about various aspects of this endeavor to buy and outfit my first truck, but for now, here are some requirements I have that it has to meet:
- It has to be a 4x4
- It has to have a manual transmission
- It has to be newer than '86 so that I can get the fuel injection, because I don't know crap about carburetors
- It has to be older than '92 so I can get that great square look going on (Isn't that called OBS? I can't remember)
I would also prefer for it to have the 2.9L six, but I could be flexible on that point. I realize that this is a pretty specific set of requirements, but I have time to wait for the right rig to show up on Craigslist.
