I am Brian, and this is my third Ranger. I live in Orlando and bought my current Ranger in February 2021 from a neighbor, the original owner, to keep it out of the junkyard. It's a 1995 XLT 2.3L with a manual transmission. It ran awful, had been parked for many years, and showed every one of its 178k miles. Over the last year and a half, I've cleaned the truck thoroughly and worked my way through the major systems (cooling, electrical, fuel/evap, water leaks, A/C, and front suspension are complete - brakes are up next). I've made some upgrades to the interior, but other than replacing the stock 14x6" wheels with 15x7" wheels from an Explorer, the exterior is keeping the patina. The interior has had many upgrades and refurbishments. It became my daily driver in August when my newly licensed daughter claimed my 2005 Ford Five Hundred as her own.
